just out of curiousity, how often do u guys do wc on discus tank? list ur gallons n # of discus. my lfs guys told me to do only weekly 50% wc. n daily vac of poop/waste. I was under the impression that daily 50%wc was mandatory, so is the 50% wc only recommended? just kinda interested in discus n wanna do hw before gettin them

also has anyone done 90% wc at once before?

Ryan is correct. It all depends on variables like stocking density, the food you feed(beefheart recipes are messy), how much you feed and your filtration set up. With a good filtration system and a properly stocked tank doing 20% water change twice a week would be fine. It's important not to over feed your fish. You might want to siphon out any left over food in your aquarium after they are done eating.
