How Often??

I have sand substrate and took a little bit of messing with the power head to blow every thing with out blowing all my sand but still vacuum once a week. I was thinking of getting one of these for quick spot cleaning

I haven't vacuumed a tank in over 5 years

I do a surface gravel vac with a 30% WC 3x week and then on Sunday i do a deep gravel vac with a 80% WC.
But I'm just a little anal

My dirtier tanks get backed every five days or so, some of my planted tanks only got vacced a few times a year
