The only fish I know the age of is my Striped Raphael, which is going on a year now. #mewiththemeaslyages LOL

That’s really impressive!

I’ve only been really serious about the hobby since 2016, but I have some silver dollars that have been alive that long, so about 7 years give it take.
Everything else is somewhere on that line, anywhere from 7 years to a few weeks/months with my most recent fish.a

I came back into the hobby in 2015. I still have fish from the very first batch I bought back then as tiny juveniles. Giant gourami, bala sharks and clown loach.

When Redshark1 Redshark1 sees this he'll put everyone to shame with the ages of his clown loach.

I have 3 silver dollars (Metynnis maculatus) that came to me in December 2017, when they were a documented 18-20 years of age. The documentation is that there are records of them being kept at the place for 18 years, but they were probably already ~2 years old when they arrived. 2017 to today makes them 24-26 years of age. They look mature for sure, but not declining or particularly old in any way.
I also have a stripped headstander who might be 8 years old, and I recently lost a flagtail Prochilodus (not to senility) of probably the same age.
