8" to 10" is tops for a female. 12" for a male. after a year they usually around 6" , after that they grow real slow.

possible given the right conditions. my 8" male is pared with a 4" female, already spawned once.

Idk of you ever seen dispatch273's big boy and his girl but big boy is around 9" and his girl around 6".
