A couple of the answers surprised me. Its funny how you get a picture of someone in your mind. Ive been keeping fish for around 13 years now, give or take a year. Started with a 18x12x12 with 3 fancy goldfish, couple of white clouds and a hillstream loach. The fish store said it was ok, I didn't know any different!

I've had goldfish since I was a kid, first tropical tank when I was about 16, so 16 years in the hobby for me. In that time I've had a ~3 month break with no tanks, at the peak I had a combined 3200L of water, and now I'm down to 2200L but all in one tank!
