i have tried starving them but it is to expensive thats when they decide to say f#(k u and eat their tank mates and if they cant eat em kill em so now i feed them steak etc its cheaper than buying ney cleaners lol

also what the hellis that fish in the avtar above me? wow it looks sweet

its not a good fish for a tank,,they wil eat everything,,,but hes nice he

My lfs has "buy one get one free" on Sundays. I happily buy 10 small neon tetras for $5, and just make sure they look healthy and are free of ich.

They look great in the tank, for the 24-48 hours that they exist for. And the oscar loves them....a lot.

I only do that every other week, but it is cool to see the behaviour change in the O.

I also throw in my large convict fry for the food chain, but the firemouth is the only one that really gets them - too small for the O.

So much for not feeding live...all you fish hippies out there I have seen the light of the monster fish keeper.

To be a monster fish, the monster fish needs meat that swims.
