ok i was a lil dramatic on the title lol. ok this friday i'll be going to nashvill tennesee, im in western ky, im going to see family but before i leave there im gonna raid all the LFS, theres about a 110% chance i'll come back with some kind of water dwelling creacher, its a good 2 and a half hour minimum drive, im sure this has been covered before but i cant help it im antsy!

so everything should be fine in the bag they give me

have them put some oxygen in the bag. If thats not possible, then grab a portable pump ( kmart sells this ) , get a bucket and put the fish in the bucket with the air pump running.

Just curious as to how long a fish can survive in a bag? How long do you think it would be untill you would have to put them in something different?

this is kind of of topic but soon i get a scooter will i be able to transport fish on it of course if i dont crash it or fall of

Try to get the biggest bags you can. Then. Try putting just one fish in each bag. This may help as each fish will have it's own oxygen supply.

I've taken long trips with a lot of risky fish such as rays. All I did as a precaution was to have either a battery operated or electric (powered thru cigarette lighter) air pump. I'd sink the air stone in the water and closed up the bag lightly so that air could escape and the bag wouldn't burst. Everyone made it back safely :).
