I would not pay more than a few dollars more than for any other O, and then only if it was something I had been looking for and really wanted. On that note I also would not pay a large premium for bigger fish, unless I needed a bigger one to match a tank mate, I prefer to get them small and grow them out.

I have not been putting them out of their misery but I do think they are -very ugly looking. I think any type of long-fin oscars are ugly looking, The Doctor.
