not smart, those things are classed as weapons in UK, if a guy doesn't touch you and you do that to him your gonna be in big trouble. how about a rape alarm?

If the guy doesn't touch you you shouldn't be macing, stabbing, shooting, etc. him. "Hay baby nice ass" is not worthy of a wheel chair or a body bag. Once he reaches for you then by all means he/she has crossed a fundamental line and all bets are off.

Just carry like bug spray or some form of spray liquid that burns the eyes, or get a letter opener and sharpen the blade, that's what my mom did. Haha

hmm i agree with that. i usually laugh it off or just blank a guy out when he comes up to me and his presence in uninvited but that guy really freaked me out by following me for so long. i mean how long are you gonna follow a girl for even after she clearly doesn't want you anywhere near her?!

Some people can't internalize some one not being interested (narcissist), or he get a rise out of intimidating someone.

cut and paste my friend. you can use character map for many things and what isn't in character map, you can find with google and cut and paste. as for sambo not being for the faint of heart, if you are learning it for self defense and not so much for competition, it is a little easier. plus, many self defense courses for women incorporate throws and disarming techniques from this and other martial arts. krav maga is another one that is popular in whole or in watered down versions for female self defense

lol if you get caught with a sharp object? I always take spray that contains alcohol just an every day perfume but i would never mix up my own potion to use.

any rape whistle or alarm only works if people are around and react to it. the sad fact is that alarms have become so common, most people wouldn't even pay much attention. they actually tell you to yell fire instead of rape b/c sadly it gets more reaction

The self defense course yes. The initial classes of an actual martial arts be it Kung Fu, Sambo, krav maga or other will only teach you enough to get into really big trouble really fast.
