How Should I Put my Trimac down?

I got him at lfs,now he has lateral line erosion and swim bladder issues.Im thinking of puting him down but i dont know how to do it humanely, any suggestions?

Clove Oil, not sure on the dosage though. Pets them to sleep....for good.

Freezer is a good idea. But he would die slow.

Clove oil would work.

Clove oil puts them to sleep and in the least traumatic for you as the one having to do it. The quickest way is to use a large knife and sever the spinal colon from the head, this is pretty brutal looking.

Clove oil to put it to sleep, then replace the oil slowly with hard liquor like vodka. Freezer seems a little cruel

clove oil..freezing is a slow harsh way to die,

or a quick cut to the back of the head threw the spine..

Bring water to a boil on the stove and throw the fish in after it starts boiling. INSTANT death, and it's cheap!
