how smart are rays?

I'd say very smart.. I'd put them in the same legue as big dats and big snakeheads.. the older they get and the more you interact with them the smarter they get..

i know rays are very smart,you cannot class them with dats or snakeheads they are higher up, but come on birds & mammals....dont get carried away man "dont beleive everything you read" rays dont rival orca "killer whales" or apes for that matter lol not a freaking chance ,also using the word mammal in that article ..i wish they specified what mammals. rays are smarter than most creatures we can keep in a glass tank in our homes ,except cephalopods i think they might be more inteligent

your rays are doing something very cool ,i have been training mine to eat floating pellets its very entertaining to watch !!!
