If you go to an auto parts store that carries paint and body supplies you can get plastic razor blades. They shouldnt scratch. But. Id say do not use razor blades at all.

Blaaah i hate old paper...i dont understand y people leave it on... its a pita to remove after being wet and dry over years of time. Ive used razor blades and hot water plenty of times and its easy to get cut and scratch the acrylic but if you paint it when its clean the scratches pretty much dissapear. I like the wallpaper stripper idea lol never thought of that. Ive cleaned 8 acrylic tanks like this and it is not fun by any means. I also left it on one and its terrible to look at. Be patient and use anything you can to get it off lol...goo gone maybe? Dont no y, but ive never tried anything but hot water and razors. Razorblades are your best friend for glass tanks lol helpful when doing this on acrylic aswell.
