How soon can Texas "herichtys carpinte" be able to breed??

I'd have to say those carpintis are larger than 2" including tail, I'd think around 3". My pair has fry every 3 weeks and some babies hit 1" 6 weeks after hatching, that's why I thought there'd be no way. Try measuring them again...

hey! i thought like u did too... i know theyre too young then add the tank and tankmates theyre in.. there's no way this 2 couldve bred.. but, they did. lol
there so way the guy is @ 3inches.
took it out and the guy is 1.8inch and the female is @ 1.4 lol?
