How tall is you aquarium stand? and why

Ok so i built a stand that was 3 feet tall for my 125 and i am going to build a twin stand for my new 125 also i build them taller then you would buy from a store b/c i'm not a short guy (6'1") and i HATE bending down to look into fish tanks. I like to be able to stand there and look at them without worrying that i won't be able to get back up lol.

I have a friend thats wife is only like 5' and she has hip and leg problems and she wanted him to build her a stand that was only 2' so she could get inside there tank to clean it (180)

so whow tall is yours? and why?

38" as my tank is only 18" deep it puts it at a viewable height.

my 60 gallon stand is only a foot and a half. i made it that way cuz its perfect when im sitting less than a foot away. i cant see and my new 210 gallon stand is 2 feet high. i just didnt want to make it any higher i guess.

if ur only one abuild em 1 in ch high y dont u just get some ply and styro? mines 800 i wish itwas taller though not bough space to fiddle with the sump

Mines 75cm (30"~) off the ground, so I voted 2.5'; It's basically a visual balance thing, my tanks 28" high and having it close to 50/50 without the tank being the larger of the two was just visually pleasing, and 70cm is practical.
