How tall is you aquarium stand? and why

Mine is 3 ft.
If I was to make another one it would be 1 metre high.

1 metre for sump room and face to face viewing with the tank.

450mm including polystyrene and ply on top of a steel frame. Low tanks rule if you can put the sump etc elsewhere, so much easier to work on, and perfect height for watching while kicking back on the couch.

My stand is around 4 feet high because it was a free stainless steel work table lol. I like it cause its eye level with people looking in. Although I have to use a step ladder to clean lol.
