Amazon is going to start a drone service for its customers that are in a 10 mile radius of an amazon warehouse. Basically you order something, and a half hour later a little helicopter, will drop your package off at your door. They say this should be up and running by 2016.

Here's what Amazon has been working on. Apparently they could not shoot the video in the USA because of the FAA, but they are working on this. It may be years down the road....
