and the egg is placed safe in the clutch

Love it!

In my 'critters' album is a series of a land snail coming out of its shell and crawling out of a box, but this easily beats that.

Hahaha!!! I remember taking shots of my own apple snail also attempting to lay eggs on the tank brace.:D

Great pics, especially since i recently found eggs on the underside of my tanks lid... btw, any chance you got it on video??? coz it would be pretty interesting seeing it happen more or less in real time...

Oh wow, that's pretty cool.

How fast was this series taken?
It curves to create a muscular slide yeah?
Whats the male doing during all this?

Once again, your shots are sweet!

Ive not been around long, so wouldn't know if your written it before, however what control gear you running?

The egg laying process is very slow therefore it'll take almost all night for the snail to finish her job. Males have nothing to do with this.

Fair enough, thanks for the insight.

Hello anyways Lupin, assuming your apart of the mod_mob. Although I've got that feeling ive seen your name pop up on some other forum/s giving quality advice.
