Great pics, especially since i recently found eggs on the underside of my tanks lid... btw, any chance you got it on video??? coz it would be pretty interesting seeing it happen more or less in real time...
thank you
no video mate, no video cam :(
How fast was this series taken?
It curves to create a muscular slide yeah?
Whats the male doing during all this?

Once again, your shots are sweet!

Ive not been around long, so wouldn't know if your written it before, however what control gear you running?
as lupin said the process is quite slow and i took these with a NIkon D40, with a Sigma 17-70mm macro HSM

the male kinda does the job a few days ago and then the female gets up to lay eggs, i kinda have almost 7-9 clutches of eggs around on the tank hood. use the snails to give to friends or feed one once in a while to my lung.

Yeah, after reading Lupin's answer on how long it took, i realized that even if you had a video you probably wouldn't want to be sitting there for hours watching a snail lay eggs...

Eitherway, still great pics

Each egg took almost 30 seconds to a minute before it was finally set in place when I observed my canas laying them.lol It was very boring to watch if you ask me.:screwy:
