Generally adding new pikes to a tank with established pikes doesn't work unless they are close to the same size, the new pike is an aggressive one, or you add MULTIPLE pikes at the same time. Adding multiple pikes splits up the aggression and helps the other pikes get a chance to get set up in the tank. I added my 7" lenticulata to my 125gal that had three Crenicichla sp. 'xingu II', and three Crenicichla sp. 'cobra'...lol. The lent was able to hold his own, took over one end of the tank...lol. You can watch the 'Lesson in Pike Aggression' video I have in here, just to give you an idear. The more pikes, the better your chances...
