I am building my dream aquarium which temporarily serve a the home for RTC's, pacu, and arapaima along with a couple other species. How thick must plywood be to structurally strong enough to hold such weight thanks in advance hope your all having an awesome day.

Btw only temporary for pima. 10 feet long, 4 feet tall, and 5 feet front to back.

I appreciate you guys helping me. I am debating whether to put a viewing panel or make it a pond sort of.

You probably should build a 2×4 frame and use 1" plywood. As for the viewing window I would find the appropriate glass or acrylic calculator for the size you want. Depending on how deep, how you brace it will help decide glass thickness. It would be best if you are putting in a window to do it in 2 or 3 sections and keep the window shorter then the entire depth and put the window up higher. I'd say to keep cost down do less then 30" window and let there be 18" below it with just plywood that way the glass won't need to be as thick.
