How Things Have Changed

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's called Generation "i don't have a freak'n clue". Seems like all the clueless ones graduated from college and think they are smart and popular because of the number of Facebook friends or because they own a blog. the world is doomed, sit back and enjoy the freak show.

even mfk has changed so much in 5years i've been here... the world keeps turning and people keep evolving!

Too bad change isn't always a good thing. This trend is the main reason behind the massive increases in obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. People tell try to blame fast food but Americans always ate like garbage, but that was fine before we got lazy.

This made me LOL so much! LMAO! Thanks so much for these, Liz.

A lot of the problems in kids now days reflect directly back on the parenting IMO. Life style habits are developed at a very early age. Granted they can be changed but it's a lot harder when people become accustomed to a certain life style. People now days allow their children to eat crap food, sit inside all day and play video games, buy them cell phones, let them sit on facebook for hours. If you live an active life style, eat right and teach your children to do the same they are more likely going to continue to do so as they grow older. It's a lot of the parents that let their kids walk all over them and would rather just give in to them because it's easier than having to battle with them, thats the real problem. Kids need guidance and need to hear the word NO. I think that is ultimately the reason why we see such an increase in health problems across America. Kids aren't driving themselves to fast food joints and buying all these video games. It's all one big chain reaction.

Some great interesting points made here.... just saying.... ;)

I couldn't agree more. There are a lot of children in my neighborhood and weather permitting I walk my dogs daily yet can't remember the last time I say kids throwing a ball around and riding bikes is a rarity for them. When I was growing up in the 80s and 90s we were out riding or playing sports from sun up to sun down and when we screwed up it was made clear to us that what we did was wrong and why it was wrong. When we lost in sports it wasn't at least you tried and had fun, it was you need to practice more and try harder.

Nice finds.
