The Pacific Coast Cichlid Association is proud to announce our very own Mr. Jim Ellenberger ,a Master Breeder, a Honorary Life Member of the PCCA, a Cichlidae Communiqué's editor (the PCCA's award winning publication), a long time ACA member, as our speaker on Feb 12, 2011.
Mr. Jim Elenberger has been keeping fish since he was in college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. His dad kept fish when he was a kid but he just watched them and didn't do anything with them. When he graduated in 1978, he moved back to the San Jose area and he still had, fish. When he got his first house, he also got his first big tank (60 gallon glass). After a while, he added a 125 gallon Plexiglas tank and he was hooked.
With his informative presentation, "How to Acquire Your Perfect Cichlid; AKA the Perils of the Internet" will be an interesting topic for every hobbyist who like to purchase fishes online.
