im just wondering, how to properly add water from tap to a fishtank. What i do is use a 1.5inch hose which fills the tank super quick (i only do this after a big water change like 30%.) then after its filled and the bubbles are everywhere, i put in my dechlorinator. is this safe? im just wondering how people with pythons and such add their dechlorinator without using buckets, i dont really see any other way then how i do it. :naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

Matt i would change and add the chemical first. Personally I don't use anything in my water. But if you are going to then add it first because if you think the water need to be dechlorinated then the fish have already started taking it into there system.

When you add the dechlorinator doesn't really matter, chlorine and chloramine are not fast acting. I fill my tanks and then add the dechlorinator. So as long as you don't wait a few hours you will be fine.
