As I am getting larger tanks Im draling with this problem that I havent before. Right now Im getting my 73g hex tank up for my goldfish, and when it is on the stand it is quite tall, atleast 5- 5 1/2 feet tall, and I am 5'7". I want yo use some large round rocks to aquscape it, but as I think about it I dont how to get them in. I am afraid if I stand on a chair and lean over I will lose my balance and drop them. Plus I would probably have to be on something almost as tall as the stand to reach down to the bottom. How do you do this in large tanks?

So it should work to stand a on a ladder, holding a large rock, and then bend over into the tank? I'll have to do some test rounds without the rock!

folding step ladder with hand-hold at the top

There's the option of having the tank off the stand, loading the larger rocks, and getting someone to help you put the tank back on the stand, then add water

If it's for goldfish I would suggest avoiding anything sharp, or making any cubby hole the goldfish will try and shove himself into causing him to exhaust/stress himself to death. Cubby places and goldfish do not mix well.

Get a ladder and someone with long arms. There is craft stuff you can use to make fake rocks too. Call a craft store and save some weight.

Send us a picture:D
