I have a 10-12" Arowana and 8 5-6" Blood Parrot in my tank, i want to add a 4-5" RTC in there, will that be okay even that RTC grow fast.
I'm afraid that RTC grow too fast and eat my other parrot in the future.

210 gallon tank.

Bro IMO you should get an alternative. My last redtail grew over an inch a week, seemed like a minute. It will be able to swallow those fish in a couple months. Check out some catfish in the 18" to 24" range. Still get good size, smaller mouths, etc. I traded mine in because in just 3 or 4 months it looked like it was going tp inhale my 7in ornatum at the time.

If i get one and grow as fast like yours, i can trade it to the store i buy it.
I never pet a catfish so i wanna give it a try.

I wouldn't risk it. I have never had one, but I have seen a lot of pictures and read a lot of bad stories on here.

Maybe the only way for you is to get a second tank for him

Get a Tigrinus or Jurense man. Beautiful catfish that wont end up eating its tankmates.

I'm agree w/ chizzle. I love my juruenese and it does grow pretty slow! I have plenty MONSTER catfish: juruenese, 15in achara, 15in planiceps, 10in vulture, megalodora irwinei, oxydoras niger, sturio, jaguars. NOTHING holds a candle to a RTC. When its comes to growth and devouring tankmates.

Can't be avoided. Mine ate a 14" african lung. , he wasn't that much bigger himself.folded him up and swallowed him while I was at work.sad day.

I never seen a Tigrinus or Jurense in any of my LPS, are you rare to get and expensive?
Will a Tiger Shovel Nose be okay?
