How to become a moderator??

first off, im not saying i want to be a moderator. im perfectly fine with being a member. However, i keep seeing a lot of different moderators on mfk, and just a bit curious. How did u all become moderators??

Becoming a mod probably has something to do with avoiding emotion. Typical mod-speak is factual and informative and carefully planned to not anger anyone. Politically correct and within guidelines and...weak for my tastes. So unless you can do that (not me!) I think it's probably hopeless. It seems I end up saying "wrong" things a little too often to even pretend I'm level-headed. So it's a sort of "no radicals allowed" thing as far as I can tell.

you can say what needs to be said... it just has to be said tactfully..It does get difficult some times... but thats when you edit..and start again..
