How to breed Guppies

yes, fancy guppies are, like the name implies, just fancy looking guppies :)
 
Can you do it with feeder guppies or do they have to be the fancy ones?

Would having SAE/Corydora in the same tank hurt anything? Meaning could one breed guppys in a tank with other fish?
 
doesnt matter if breeding fancy with regular guppies if your gonna use them as feeders. Also, you Can breed guppies with other fish in the tank, dont worry the male guppy doesnt get all territorial
 
feeder guppies breed alot faster than fancies.. IMO

when i was keeping feeders in my 10 i was getting at least 20 a week... then i switched to fancies cuz my grandma likes how they look.. now i get maybe 20 a month... :( same amount of them too
 
Hey guys I'm breeding guppies too!!

Yup I put my male with about 4 females and let them breed.. So far I've only seen 2 fry, think e rest were either eaten up or sucked into e filter =P dun dare look into e filter yet!! I've also put in a large java fern for e fry to hide..

Just a quick question, is it ok for 2 males to be in e same breeding tank? Tank size (water alone) is 30cmx18cmx18cm ie 9 litres of water. Btw wads e conversion from litres to gallons? I'm from Singapore we use e british system..
