and on the same token, if you don't like comments, don't post threads asking about it...

if you comment politely, then i will respond it polite too, do you like if someone come and comment with "F***" "Shiat" etc2???

hybrids or not, you cant force everyone to agreed with you..

they are your fish mosquito do what you want. i hope you find all the information you need and you get them to do the dance.

Personally I don't agree with cross breeding fish. It's with my cichlids before so I kept one to see how it would look and behave and the rest became feeders. Who says this guy is out to make a quick buck. I'm pretty sure he just want's to breed his fish or the fun of it and out of curiosity.
So Scat what right do you have to comment the way you did. Your reply was littered with assumptions and insults. Just because you have two nice kelberi it does not mean you are the "elite" or an authority on cichla keeping. There are too many people on this forum who think they are better than others purely because they have more money to spend on fish or they have access to rarer cichla. This is ridiculous.
You'd better go tell everyone who has mixed cichla species in their tanks to separate them just incase they cross breed. I doubt you said anything like that to dieselmack when he had an azul and an orino together.

Good God, why? Why the **** would you want to do this? It's hard enough distinguishing the different species and races as it is.

This makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. If you want to impress me, breed a pure species and show me that you can do it. All this shows me is that you can't find a compatible pair of any one species so you're willing to settle for any shiat that will lay eggs.

Good job! You're breeding shiat!!

:iagree:
despite the harshness of words....hes right.
why do it?
it COULD work,but....why?

Hmmmm honesty i dont like cross breeding fish...But if they do it naturally in our tank....so...why not??? Semangat!!!!! Azul gw tambah item...-_-

how could a tank ever be natural?:screwy:

i would trade the male temensis for a male azul.I am sure it would cost a few bucks more as well. Then you can breed azuls and get 100 bucks a baby, several pats on the back, and you will get a ton more respect.I honestly think if your putting them in a good size pond then they will never breed but you never know.
