I was wondering what would be the best food to really bring out the colors in my rtc he seems to really love krill and and live ghost shrimp and fiddler crabs but i want to find out what will really make his colors pop.

Hey i never owned a red tail however i hear the best diet for most fish here on bottom dwellers is hikari, the exact brand idk i will look at some previous threads also dont forget to still give some fresh treats like what u mentioned
Garlic additive work for mine. I use to soak the market shrimp in it, before feeding it to "him"
But mine has also had his fair share of tankmates, so it could have been that too.

Tried the garlic additive with the massivore pellets and its working awesome he's getting huge and colorfull thanks.

What do you mean by the "garlic additive". My RTCs tail is like pinkish orange. You can see pics of him on my profile and threads I've posted. Help! Thank you!
