How to calculate overflow displacement & anyone tried this Temu sump?

That is a above tank sump meaning it sits on top of your tank not underneath it I have seen a few YT videos on them they seem pretty good if your OK with the sump on top of your tank
Andy when filling your tank w sump have the return pump/s off. Fill and allow the water to overflow thru your drain into the sump to an inch or from the top of the sump. Turn your pump/s on. The place where the water lines drops to in the sump is the line you can now fill to when the sump is running.
This process ensures that during a power outage your sump will not overflow as the tank drains. Off course you need to make sure your stand pipes are the appropriate length as well.

I have seen these used here a few times already. People seem to like and enjoy them.
As mentioned, this is for above tank or or small pond filters.
The bottom box often used to keep fish and plants in as the pond section. But that could be used to house a return pump to an aquarium above.
