The best way to catch rays is to stay charm and take your time
I have been moving rays around for 20 years and never been stung
I have even lifted out a 24" p14 pulled a barb out of her belly with no issues
I know people keep saying get a rubber net but why spend good money on something you will probably only use a few times as it's not everyday you need to catch rays
Depending on what type of Ray depends how much they will struggle and try to stab you
I found pearls and motoro to be the most aggressive
If I remember right hystrix are not to bad
Use a net that is to small and net the Ray nose first the tail should stay sticking out the back of the net then when you put the Ray into the transport box let it out tail first
Or a large plastic tub with holes drilled in it
It won't be as bad as you think
