I'm setting up my tank and it has 2 corner overflows with 2" bulkheads, my sump has 2 1" inlets.. I'm stuck on how to connect the 2 together since the bulkheads are bigger than the sump inlet.. Any ideas?

You didn't supply the proper information to get a proper answer. The best answer is from bud8fan. You are going to have to go to the hardware store and use your noggin to figure out what is going to work with the parts you have....or you can buy the parts that everyone recommended and find out that people were recommending stuff without knowing what you really have.

What exactly do you have? Are your parts threaded or slip? What type of plumbing are you using? What size tank is this and what size is the sump? Do you already have a pump and is it matched to your tank? There is a reason that the tank and sump are not the same size and it may be important to find out why.

Sorry...
I was assuming that he would have the common sense to match slip to slip or thread to thread or what ever combination he needed...the reducer I posted was mainly to show that the appliance he needs is not a big bulky affair.
I was also going by the given, that he was using the listed sump and pump with the tank...I don't remember him asking about anything other than how to plumb with the given parts...

i have a 210 with 2 corner overflows with 2 inch bulkheads, a 30 gallon sump with 2 1" inlets... the inlets are slip, so is the overflow bulkheads...

what size is the hose?
pm me and i'll make you a list of what to ask for...

Ben, I know you are capable of guiding him through the parts selection process, but twice you have missed the clues that he has mismatched his sump and tank. Also he has yet to mention what pump he is going to try to drive this with. Without knowing the pump, you don't still want to push it all through one inch plumbing do you?

With the last post, it should start to become clear that tank design isn't about putting together what ever components that you can get your hands on. Your sump is only half the size that your tank will need. It can be used if you are willing/capable of redesigning it. Post a picture of it for review.

And what pump do you have, if any? How much water you are going to pump will determine the size of the plumbing you will need.

In post #6 he stated that his pump couldn't handle a 2" line...You're right I was assuming that he ment his pump was a 1"...
I figured he was working with what he had access to. I have done the same, and again you're right I wound up replacing it making it correct...In the long run it would have been cheaper to go the correct route...;)
