How to cool a tank?

Phoenix here too.

I turn the heater off (of course) but I also turn off the fish tank lights until I finally decide to turn on the AC. I also leave the lid open, the evaporation helps cool the tank. Not a good idea with arros, your stocking will determin if that's possible!

add an air pump with an air stone then place a fan near the tank so it blows air over the surface of the water. The water will evaporate and cool the tank. Just top off with cool water.

If you use frozen water bottles to cool a tank then use the now warm bottled water for your garden etc if it is warmer than a refill of new water out of the tap.
