it came off pretty easy. it was attached with some kind of two sided bond stuff. unfortunately the stuff got a little messed up in the removal. i re-installed the handle correctly but it looks bad underneath. the sticky stuff no longer covers to the edges neatly. i will pull it back off, remove the sticky stuff, and attach with super glue. hopefully that will work on plastic and glass.
