mysis are ONLY 11% or so protein while frozen. FD mysis have "more" protein because the % is a dry weight #.

that 69.%% that you see on your piscene energetics packages is VERY deceiving!!! THANK YOU FDA for not monitoring fish foods!!!

welll ill bring that up when i talk to the owner of my LFS... i think that's a little far fetched.

check a can of FD krill. and then check a Bag of Frozen Krill. you'll see the differnece.

or skip the krill... and just buy market shrimps... best not to feed a freshwater animal a saltwater food...

my rays poo turned a lil white as well after the first time i fed them black worms...

Guys i was about to post asking this exact quiestion.

One of my 2 motoros' "waste" is the exact same as this.
its been eating pellet Food. since day one.

However i am worried they may of eaten an old pellot that was sitting on the lid , and fell in at some time during a WC or something.

anyways its been like that for like 2 months. Very white and very stringy.

Now the other problem is im in australia, and i cant even dose with prazi pro because its not stocked here (i asked the guys who import hikari products into australia, they dont even know what it is :()

What else can i use?
Also i realyl want to make sure it is parasites first before i treat it, is there an easy way to find out?

Cheers,
Isuru

Prozi isnt for internal parasites, Metro is

Prazi is meant for Tapeworms as well as a few other parasites that would be considered internal. Metro would be considered better?
If so where can this be obtained? I am always open to new and better suggestions. I would love to learn how to administer medications to rays via saringe. I have a hook up that could get me all that I need ;)

My rays poo-poo has been well formed lately with no signs of tapeworm or any other little nasties. It's funny how my ideals have changed so much since March. I used to feed silversides at one point. Not to bash saltwater foods but now I am sticking with freshwater based food sources. Makes much more sense to me since that is what they eat naturally.
