If your new to cutting glass, an easy way to SNAP the glass after scoring it with the glass cutter is to use a round wooden toothpick. Spread a thin towel/blanket over your workbench. Score the glass (once) then slip the toothpick under the glass edge closest to you so the toothpick is directly under the cut following the cut direction. To snap the glass, you can simply press down on either side of the toothpick gently but firmly.
