OK, do I have this about right?
Prime coat the tank with resin.
Soak 10" wide roving in resin and roll into corners. Can the roving be folded before soaking?
Sand roving.
Soak matt in resin and roll onto tank, overlapping roving about 3".
Sand matt.
Except for the prime coat, repeat two more times.
What weight roving and matt should I use?
Can you reccomend a brand of resin?
What grit sandpaper?
Is it true that polyester resin is not waterproof, but epoxy resin is? If this is true, can epoxy resin have color added as a final gelcoat over polyester?
I was leaning toward Pond Seal until I considered the possibility of an urchin or some wierd little hitchhiker on live rock chewing through the membrane. Which makes me a little itchy about using epoxy paint to seal polyester resin.
