How to get 4" RTC on pellets?

haha yea he is .. i accidently put him in once when it was still cycling and it lived for two days and i remembered that it was uncycled but the rtc is still alive

You should have made the pond first and then got the RTC.

RTC babies and adults eat just about nething...shud be easy to get him on pellets...keeping him with fish who eat pellets already may probably speed up the process. and yes RTCs should be able to survive in an uncycled tank for a while. they r pretty hardcore fish!
