How would I go about getting an actual blue cat? Or is there a reason as to why you don't ever find them for purchase?

That's a good part of the reason I'm looking for one actually haha. Wouldn't that be considered a monster? ;).

oh yea....monster in my book. Just go catch a juvenile from the wild. They eat most cut-baits and live minnows, smaller ones will tag dips and pastes and worms too. Might hit on chicken liver, shrimp or squid also

Work schedule kinda squashes that option because of the drive I'd have to make to get to them. That's the route I'd prefer to take actually.

it's hard to house a 150lb catfish.....

I don't think there needs to be another reason lol
The current world record is 143 lbs. It would definitely be hard to house a fish that doesn't exist;).
