I have a 7 inch afro that refuses to easy anything but blood worms, any tips on how to convert it to pellets? I have tried crushing pellets to powder and tiny pieces but it doesn't eat any. I have also soaked pellets along with diced shrimp in blood worms with no success any ideas?

Thanks!

Starve him but for an afro i would wait till he gets a little bigger

Thats weird. Afros are usually open to eat ANYTHING. I wouldn't starve him since Africann. Not really a good idea imo

I would bump the temp up to 84-86 F. Don't feed the African Aro til its full. After 1 week, the African Aro should eat pellets. ;) When it eats pellets, lower the temp down back to your original temp or else, it will be eating everything. :WHOA::nilly: My 18"-20" at 86 F ate almost everything I dropped in the tank.
