How to get enough food to the bottom for Geophagus

My dad has a community of rainbows and myrnae. He feeds sinking pellets as well as flakes. Myrnae have learned to go to the bottom after the flakes are dropped in, as they know the rainbows will eat the flakes, and that pellets are coming shortly after the flakes. Could try that? Tmk silver dollars evolved to eat stuff off the surface. Could get a floating pellet or stick specifically for them so they stay up top.

My tanks I just feed enough for everyone to probably get something. I've run out of sera pellets so I've been soaking flakes and throwing those in the tank in a big cloud so something gets to the dimerus past the 50 buenos aires.

I'll do that MIlingu. I just started turning off the lights when I feed, then the silver dollars don't notice it sinking to the bottom. Once most is sunk, I turn it back on and they're all getting pretty close to equal amounts.
