Petsmart gets their fish from regional distributers, who supply most if not all of the pet stores in an area. For example, all the Petsmarts in the Northeast get their fish from the same distributer, as do Petcos and whatnot.
So, I am sure quality varies with locality. That said, obviously the best fish are not going to come from a big box store haha.
