How to get my lizard to start eating carrots & lettes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that's not the point , beardies need a varied diet to truly thrive , greens are a must as well not one or the other.

Above someone said crix should be used as a staple as opposed to mealworms and I don't see why mealworms can't be used as a relative staple as long as the worms are gutloaded for a couple of days. Also young beardies should not have a lot if any greens in their diet as mentioned above. These guys grow fast and young ones should be fed almost exclusively on small insects whatever they may be.

yea sorry about that , missed the multi quote, for now mealworms for the protein side is fine , as they get larger supers or roaches prob the way to go.

no problem :), I agree roaches would be your best bet but I know how people feel about them. Supers are good I feed them to my tegu still. They are a little tricky to breed tho. Another great thing about superworms is they have less chitin in their skin(The stuff that makes thier shells hard), so the are "softer". I will even feed my leopard geckos supers erry once in a while.
