they are from the plants i bought awhlie ago. i got the clown Loaches. but it doesnt seen can get ripped of them. is there any other way to get rid of them? without using chemicals?

feed less, vac more. Remove any adult snails as you see them and either crush and feed your fish with them or crush and discard. Remove snail eggs as they appear.

copper safe or copper itself will kill them

Put a piece of lettuce or cuycumber in a net.Put in tank.Wait till lettuce is covered with snails.Remove net full of snails.Repeat.;)
side benefit, alot of fish will enjoy chewing on the veggies.

+1

However, do not do this if you have any invertebrates that you would like to keep.

I had a bunch of Ramshorns in a tank because I was breeding them for a puffer. I put a pair of Convicts in the tank. The Cons ate all the snails in one or two days.

Convict cichlids will do a good job eradicating your snail problem, but then you're going to have to worry about your other inhabitants possibly being bullied. Good Luck!
