Filtration is a Fluval 404 with a few trays of Biomax and micro filtration pads.

I've had good luck using hydrogen peroxide and a turkey baster to blast the BGA; a few applications usually does the trick. Really though, I wouldn't even bother treating a thin growth like that. Just consider it a little extra biofiltration...
