I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank and its been cycling for 3 weeks and is still cloudy, i did 3 25% water changes too and it didnt change anything..any suggestions?

Are you using fish to cycle your tank or chemicals?

Whats your filtration like?

what type of filter and filter media?

I have fish in it, and i used the stress coat (i put a little less then it said too). For filters I have a whisper 30-60 gl and another whisper that is 10-20 gl.

P.S the cloud is just a white color. Thanks for the help

Nobody helped you yet. I think you may be slightly underfiltered.

:)

Bacterial bloom more than likely... it should go away. If it really bothers you get some kind of flocculant and the filter will catch the bacteria. Clarity by Seachem is a good one.

yea bacterial bloom,i wouldn't put any chemicals in there other than a good dechlorinator.since you are doing a fish cycle you should be doing regular water changes to keep you spikes of ammonia and then nitrite to a minimum.are you testing your levels for ammonia and then nitrites?
