How to get rid of snails without losing a hand.

I may have missed it somewhere in the thread but what kind of snails are they.

And have you tried puffers. Get a couple good sized puffers add them in there. They should have the snail problem down in a couple days to week, and will be able to keep it under control. I used to keep puffers with my "fw" morays until i started having really bad algae issue, and decided to go with nerite snails.....they are a bit expensive for me where i live so puffers had to move.

pppsshhh...just an eel bite...lol. Just let it latch onto you, then you can clean the rest of the tank with your other hand. He can only bite once right? As long as he doesn't spin and what not, your set!!

Other thing you could do is put a mirror infront of the eel. Make sure it is large enough to cover the entire front part where the eel looks. You can get cheap mirrors at Walmart. I've done it with several fish, kinda funny actually when they swim into the mirror...lol.

lol. I fed him this big frozen fish. Apparently it was slightly to big for him to swallow, so he started doing deathrolls. I'd prefer he didn't do that with my hand. lol. I didn't hink of the mirror. :)
