I have a few bluegills and bullheads in the tank some bluegills are small and some are tiny. What should I feed them? They wont go for flakes. One of my bullheads feed but the others just hide under the same rock. Will they feed at night(I know they're nocturnal)? Thanks for any help.

they will both eat absolutely anything you put in there in the next few days. especially the bullhead. they are both voracious eaters...

Thanks I was hoping so. And also some blue gills are small is brine shrimp small? or brine shrimp eggs?

depending on their size you may have difficulty getting larger bluegills to eat

bullheads will eat anything you put in there but if the bullhead is a bit smaller it will take a while for it to eat in front of you

just feed everyday and be patient do the eat or die technique and 90% of the time they will eat

i was able to train a blue gill to jump for food on like th 3rd day i had him, he was taking food from my hand

Wow..thats pretty amazing howd you do that? The first day the bullheads were leaping..but I think they were just afraid

Mosquito larva or black worms. They will start eating flake once they adjust most likely tho.

Its much easier to get them to eat if they have fish that already eat flake. Its sort of a fish see, fish do thing.
