How does everyone get their fh to come to the top for pellets? Mine just hangs out at the bottom when you come close to the tank. Should i starve him for a few days? I would like to get him started on some ching mix or bio gold+ but he wont come to the top for me. Any suggestions?

Starve him. Got a female a few weeks ago and she didn't goto the surface ether. After a few days of not eating she was begging for food.
when i first got my flowerhorn he doesnt want to eat pallets he always want blood worms so when i raan out blood worms i just dont feed my flowerhorn for 2 days and i walk pass by the tank he always beg me for food so i drop in the pallets and he wont eat it so i keep trying till he eeat the pallets
Mine beg all the time give it some time they should give in. Try soaking the pellets in bloodworm juice for faster results.
