How to grow large mealworms on your own.

Well i did this myself and it really worked, i had two containers of mealworms and one of them ran out of the food that it comes with, so i decided to take manners into my own hands. I had an old can on "Fluker's Orange Cube" for gutloading crickets, so i thought i'd give it a shot. I tosses in a fairly large cube, then left and came back in about 30 mins and the whole thing was gone. So i did this for about a week, and this is what i got.

*The Smaller worm is one from the container that didn't recieve the Orange Cube.

oh wow, I wonder if that would make the meat to scale ratio more meat then scale, so it would be more like a super worm then a mealie, if thats the caseI can save alot of money

yeah you can save alot of money, because the orange cubes aren't that expensive and they last quite a while. Also they're gutloaded and full of nutrients

Correctemundo But there are also comon mealworms treated so they attain huge siizes but thouse never metamorphose

probably. depends on what the values are in what he fed.
if anyting they are alot better than mealworms fed normal stuff.

i power-feed all of my feeders. ive have mealworms get that big before. the reps loved them
